According to legend, the Chinese emperor Shennong first discovered tea about 5,000 years ago? The emperor liked his water boiled for sanitation purposes. One day a dried leaf from a wild tea plant fell into his pot of water. Despite the change in color, the water was served to the emperor anyway. He drank it, found it refreshing, and Tea was born!
